Tuition is paid via Zelle to Zelle tag: biyo-payment, or via personal check made out to BIYO. If the payor last name in Zelle is different than the instrumentalist's please send a note to [email protected] ! Tuition is due by the first rehearsal of each concert set/term.  Tuition not paid by 2nd rehearsal is subject to a $20 late fee. Please refer to the Calendar for pertinent dates.

​For the 2026-2027 season, tuition is as follows: 
     Debut Orchestra - $200/term 
     Philharmonia Orchestra - $300/term

Chamber Orchestra  - $300/term
Additional sibling discount - 50%

Donations in addition to tuition are welcome and can be included in the same payment. The BIYO is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and relies on volunteers, donations, grants and community support to cover 35% of operating expenses. Your donation to BIYO is tax deductible to the full extent of the law.

The Bainbridge Island Youth Orchestra, founded in 2001, is a training program for young string musicians seeking an orchestral ensemble experience.  It has evolved into a three-tier orchestra program providing music education for all levels, from the emerging reader to the advanced musician.  BIYO's goal is to train the student musician in the craft of orchestra playing while instilling a deep love for music and fostering development of a well-rounded individual.
