BIYO Rehearsal Parent/Snack Assignment

Second Semester 2012

Below are Rehearsal Parent/snack assignments for the Sinfonietta and Orchestra for Second semester.

The Rehearsal Parent Duties include:

• arrive 15 minutes early to help with room set up
• remain available during entire rehearsal (Sinfonietta OR Orchestra) to assist music director as needed with non-artistic needs such as distributing music, photocopying parts, monitoring students, etc.
• provide, set up, and monitor snack and clean up; monitor students during snack
• stay after rehearsal to help transition between rehearsals (Sinfonietta) or to clean up and leave the rehearsal space clean and organized (Orchestra)

Snack:  Please bring enough snacks and drinks for 11 (Sinfonietta) or 11 (Orchestra) students, and yourself and the conductor too!  Due to allergies, please no food items containing nuts of any kind. 

You will receive a reminder phone call and/or email before your assigned date.  If you are unable to be there, please call another parent to switch days or notify our volunteer coordinator, as this is a very important contribution to a successful rehearsal for all.  We appreciate everyone's help.
